The WomenSchool of Ministry Leadership sprang from the vision of its founder and dean, Pamela Heim. Pamela is a graduate of Nyack College (NY) with a B.A. in English and Bible and earned a M.A. in counseling from Denver Seminary (CO). In addition to writing numerous articles, she' s the author of A Leader Reader on Leadership Character & Competence , Leading Women's Ministries: A Guide to Effectiveness & Excellence in Serving Women, The Pastor's Wife: Balancing Her Multiple Roles, and five books now out of print including Nurturing Intimacy with God. Prior to her retirement in 2008, she served as the Associate Director of Converge Worldwide Lay Leadership Development and National Director of Baptist General Conference Women's Ministries. She's a frequent retreat and conference speaker. Pamela lives with her husband in Colorado Springs, Colorado USA. They have three children and two grandchildren.
